Meet the Team
Meet Dr. Donna, our enthusiastic and dedicated chiropractor, who is proud to call Belle Glade her hometown. As an alumnus of Glades Day School, Florida Gulf Coast University, and Palmer College of Chiropractic-Florida, Dr. Donna brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Southern Touch Healthcare. During her time at Palmer, she received certifications in:
-Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
-Activator Technique
-Trigger Point Therapy
-Flexion and Distraction.
After graduating from Palmer, Dr. Donna pursued her passion for animal care by obtaining her Animal Chiropractic Certification from Options for Animals in Olathe, Kansas, and has been certified since February 2022. She is currently studying for a second certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association, with her test date pending.
Dr. Donna is passionate about working with adults of all ages, seniors, kids, pregnant women, animals, and athletes. Her dedication to bringing the highest quality of care to the Glades community that helped raise her is unwavering. She is making strides to introduce acupuncture and functional medicine to Southern Touch Healthcare, with the end goal of making our clinic the Glades’ “one-stop-shop” for top-of-the-line healthcare.

What is Low Level Laser Therapy? DOES LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY HURT?
No, Erchonia’s low level lasers do not heat or freeze the skin.
Low level laser therapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses laser light at low levels. The light is applied to the surface skin of the body with the intentions of decreasing pain or inflammation, promoting healing of wounds, tissues, and nerves, or for preventing tissue damage. This is much different than the high-level lasers that we know for surgical procedures to cut and destroy unhealthy tissue.

We have spent the last 2 years trying to become credentialed for insurance companies like Florida Blue, Cigna, Atena and many more. Unfortunately we have been denied. Although we may pop up as a provider under your insurance ‘Provider Search’ we do not receive compensation for the work that we do.
